At the close of the Veterans For Peace National Convention on Sunday, August 9, VFP convention attendees are invited to join us for a networking workshop and cookout with deported veterans. We will meet on Sunday at 6 P.M at the Deported Veterans Support House (DVSH) in Tijuana BC, for a post-convention Reconciliation Cook-out, followed on Monday morning by a Deported Veterans Legislative Networking Workshop.
The event is for anyone wishing to become a part organizing efforts on US side of the border as we build our legislative campaign to bring our brothers and sisters home and rejoin them with their families.
There is a train right outside the hotel, that runs to the border. We will be providing a shuttle from the border to the DVSH. We will also have lodging available for those who wish to stay overnight in Mexico:
We will have 10 bunks available at the Support House for any folks who wish to bunk in at The Bunker (DVHS).
There is also a Hotel that is a short walk from the
